Tiffany Lounge at the Carriage House Jewelite Matchbook
Vintage matchbook from Tiffany Lounge at the Carriage House in Miami Beach, Florida. There are 2 of these matchbooks available, one that has never been used and one that has been lightly used (one match missing).
Both the front and back of the matchbook cover feature a brightly colored Tiffany lampshade with the lounge's name underneath. Inside, it boasts "an intimate and cozy atmosphere open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m." as well as cocktail hour with complimentary hors d'oeuvres from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and entertainment.
The Coconut Grove Hotel opened in Coconut Grove, Florida in the 1970s. Not much can be found about the hotel and it's rooftop restaurant, Horatio's, except a small excerpt in the New York times from March 27, 1977.
